Our Program

3 Core Days

We concentrate education into three core days.  Instruction in core fields of study are given Tuesday through Thursday with dedicated Tapestry Teachers at the school. Parents can choose Monday or Friday for a "practice or prepare day" with their students at home. During this time students practice what they've learned or prepare through reading (once a student is reading) for the next school day.

This flexibility is designed to empower families to adventure and learn together in younger years while instilling a foundation of academic rigor and excellence. We encourage families to leverage the hybrid program to enroll in extra circular activities or capitalize on extra family time.

Learning Cohorts

Tapestry Classical Academy recognizes that education is not a one-size-fits-all journey. Rather than following a  traditional age-grade model, our students are part of learning cohorts—small, multi-age groups of students who progress together based on skill, mastery, and developmental readiness. This model allows us to cultivate a rich learning environment where each child is encouraged to flourish at their own pace, and be appropriately challenged.

We are committed to returning to a system of education that underpinned the original foundations of Oxford and Harvard while producing thinkers like Virgil, William Tyndale, Jonathan Edwards, the Founding Fathers, and C.S. Lewis. We move beyond the idea of simply "covering" material and instead prioritize true mastery of concepts. Tests and quizzes are used as tools for learning—formative assessments that guide our teaching, ensuring every student has the opportunity to fully grasp and apply what they are learning.

Integrated Learning

We live in an age of specialization, but God is writing a masterful story that is all connected. He is the ultimate author and to see his story unfolding, we integrate Bible, History, and Literature so students naturally see the connections unfolding. This is integral to our approach to education.
